REGINA – A 25-year-old man arrested by Regina Police Service on Sunday made his first appearance in court and he was remanded in custody.
Bowen Pan is charged with two counts each of pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon and discharging a firearm in a reckless manner. He is also charged with possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon, and assault.
The charges stem from an incident on April 6 when officers were called to a firearms complaint about a male threatening victims with a C02 gun before firing multiple shots at them in the 3700 block of Wascana Parkway.
Pan's case was adjourned to give him time to get a defence lawyer.
