CMHA Regina executive director bestowed with King Charles III Coronation Medal

The medal is given to those who have made a significant contribution to the country or an area of it.

REGINA - A local Regina resident has been bestowed with the King Charles III Coronation Medal.

Shannon Patton, interim executive director of  the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Regina Branch, was presented with the medal by Saskatchewan Lt. Gov. Bernadette McIntyre, with Mayor Chad Bachynski also in attendance.

"The Coronation Medal honours individuals who have made meaningful contributions to Canada or brought recognition to the country through achievements abroad," a press release stated.

CMHA Regina is recognized for their work in supporting those dealing with mental health challenges, serving over 1,300 Regina members with programs to support recovery from mental health illness and addictions.
