PRINCE ALBERT - Environment Canada continues to have in place rainfall warnings for the following areas of Saskatchewan:

Ile a la Crosse - Buffalo Narrows - Beauval

La Ronge - Prince Albert Nat. Park - Narrow Hills Prov. Park

Meadow Lake - Big River - Green Lake - Pierceland

Melfort - Tisdale - Nipawin - Carrot River

Pelican Narrows - Cumberland House - Creighton

Prince Albert - Shellbrook - Spiritwood - Duck Lake

Rain, at times heavy, is expected.

A low pressure system tracking through the Prairies will bring a prolonged period of rain today through Wednesday.

Scattered thunderstorms are also expected with this system, which will make rainfall amounts difficult to predict. In general, storm total rainfall amounts are forecast to be in the range of 50 to 70 mm. However, higher rainfall amounts are likely in areas with thunderstorms.
