REGINA — Premier Scott Moe is finding himself in unfamiliar territory.
Moe has seen his popularity in Saskatchewan slip four points to 49 per cent in the latest poll by Angus Reid.
That places Moe third among his colleagues in other provinces.
Premier Moe’s popularity has had some peaks and valleys over the years. He hit a low point of 43 per cent in September of 2021, and a peak in March of 2019, and 2020 of 65 per cent.
Wab Kinew in Manitoba continues to push his numbers higher, as the very popular premier has strong support from 66 per cent of the people asked. That’s up three per cent compared to the last poll several months ago.
Next is Andrew Furey from Newfoundland and Labrador at 55 percent. Scott Moe is third, followed by Danielle Smith of Alberta, who is seeing a slight drop in her popularity down two points to 45 percent.
New Brunswick’s Blaine Higgs and Ontario’s Doug Ford have the lowest popularity at 31 percent.
