REGINA — It was a special day at the Saskatchewan Legislature as Premier Scott Moe joined former Lt.-Gov. Vaughn Solomon Schofield for the unveiling of her official portrait.

The work was painted by renowned Canadian artist Phil Richards, who also painted the Diamond Jubilee portrait of Queen Elizabeth II now on display at Government House. Provincial Secretary Tim McLeod has officially accepted the portrait of Schofield into the Legislative Building Art Collection. The portrait will hang in the Legislative Building's Qu'Appelle Gallery.

Schofield was Saskatchewan's 21st lieutenant governor, serving from 2012-2018.
