SASKATOON - There has been a email security incident involving the constituency office of Saskatoon Eastview 小蓝视频 Matt Love.
According to an email sent from Love's office to constituents on Friday, there was "a recent security issue involving our email system.
"Unauthorized access to our email account occurred on April 9th, 2025, and malicious emails may have been sent from our address," the email states. "These emails may contain harmful links or attachments. If you received an unexpected email from us during this time, please do not open any attachments or click on any links. Instead, delete the email immediately. If you interacted with any of these emails, we recommend running an antirvirus scan and contacting your IT support team for further assistance.
"We have contained the incident, secured our systems and taken steps to prevent this from happening again. Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] or call us at 306-664-6626 if you have any questions or concerns. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to resolve this matter."
Love has issued this statement about the incident on Friday afternoon:
"Our office became aware of an unauthorized access on April 9. This unauthorized email access led to illegitimate emails 小蓝视频 sent from our account that contained a harmful link. Our office has contacted the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for guidance and has taken steps to secure the account, notify members of the community, and prevent further unauthorized access."
