REGINA — Minimum wage employees can anticipate a bump in pay as of Oct. 1, when the Saskatchewan rate will increase to $15 an hour.
In 2022 the minimum wage was increased from $11.81 to $13, followed by a $1 increase each year following.
In 2007, the minimum wage in the province was $7.95. With the increase on Oct. 1, the minimum wage will have increased by nearly 89 per cent.
