James Craig Beattie (aka: Craig) passed away peacefully on the morning of December 21, 2022 in the Grey Nuns’ Hospital in Edmonton after a very long battle with edema, COPD and a serious case of COVID-19 in 2020.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, Saskatchewan. The Graveside Service & Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Father Amado Canaveral celebrating. Lunch and Fellowship at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 47 ~ 1:30 p.m., Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
The family would like to thank the doctors and medical staff at the Grey Nuns’ Hospital for their efforts to make Craig comfortable and for the spiritual connection they provided to him.
