Shania Sky Montana suddenly passed away Friday March 14th in Onion Lake AB/SK
Shania was referred to as “Boss-E-Moo” by her mom because she would often make all the decisions in our households. Shania took everything into her own hands because she wanted everything to be perfect. She was always so independent. She was a certified hairdresser and worked for Vivid Salon and later worked for Tommy Guns barbershop with plans on gaining a nursing degree. She was such an incredible person; beautiful inside and out. She was so loving and cared about everyone around her. Shania had a smile and laugh that would light up any room. She is loved dearly and will be missed immensely by family and friends.
Shania is survived by her partner Clint Jr. Whitstone and their baby Azaria Hazel Whitstone; mom Delilah Montana; siblings Gerome Okeymow, Joshua Okeymow, Janaya Montana, Martha Chief, Rudy Jr. Chief, Destiny Chief; siblings on her dad’s side Carmen, Tishana, Desmond, Sierra; her Montana and Heathen family; in-laws Renee Whitstone and Clinton Sr. Whitstone & family; and best friends, Tyra and Arianna.
Shania is predeceased by her dad Philip Christopher Okeymow (2024); her grandparents James Quinney (2021) and Paul Heathen; her uncle Brandon Montana; and her aunties Caroline Quinney and Jocelyn Montana.
The wake for Shania will begin on thursday, March 20, 2025 at 1:00pm at the Onion Lake Communipex, OLCN, SK.
The funeral will be on Saturday, March 21st, 2025 at 11:00 am at the same venue.
