REMOUÉ

It is with great sadness that the family of Wendy Marie Remoué of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, announce her passing on Sunday, November 17th, 2024, at the age of 70 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Annie and Joseph Remoué; brother-in-law, Merle Bisson; and nephew, Jason Bisson. Wendy will be lovingly remembered by her children, Chris Stephens (Erin) and Jenn McRae (Chad); grandchildren: Anna, Morgan, Emma, Dalton, and Elliot; siblings, Terry Remoué (Marilyn) and Bertha Bisson; as well numerous nieces and nephews. Wendy was born December 20th, 1953, and grew up in Rockglen, SK. She loved telling stories of how she helped her dad on the farm as a young girl, whether it be driving vehicles field to field as young as 7 or 8 years old or riding a tractor to help pick bales. She was the baby of the family, always trying to keep up with her older brother and sister who were 12 and 10 years older. After high school, Wendy attended Teachers’ College and earned her teaching diploma. She then returned to Rockglen to teach. After a few years of teaching in Rockglen, she briefly lived in Alberta before settling in Moose Jaw in 1980. She took time off to raise her family before returning to teaching. Wendy continued her education and worked to earn her teaching degree all while raising her kids and working. She tremendously enjoyed СÀ¶ÊÓƵ a teacher and taught for 27 years at the Rockglen School, Sunningdale School, and Westmount School. After her retirement in 2018, Wendy’s love for teaching was only surpassed by spending time with her grandchildren. Nana enjoyed attending their activities, sporting events, dance recitals, and never missed a birthday. She also enjoyed doing some travelling with family and friends. An especially memorable vacation for her was taking her 90-year-old father on a family trip to his birthplace in France. Her smile and seeing her blue truck coming in the distance will forever be missed and not forgotten by the many who knew her. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 22nd, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate and interment will take place in Quantock Cemetery, Rockglen, SK. Those not able to attend may view the service by going to . In lieu of flowers, donations in Wendy’s name may be made to a children’s charity of one’s choice.
