It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Gwendolyn Carol Ayerst (Cheesman) on November 29, 2024. Gwen was born on October 4, 1953. She was raised in Moose Jaw; however, she loved living on the farm for the few years she did. Gwen was a single mom who raised two strong-willed boys and was often looking after her family. She was an iron willed, hardworking dependable women who could be strict and give tough love but very friends and protective. Gwen worked at Town n’ Country mall for 25 years up until her retirement. She spent her retirement years gardening. Gwen is predeceased by her parents, six brothers, two sisters, two grandsons and four nephews. She is survived by two sons, five grandchildren 1 grandchild, two sisters as well as several nieces and nephews. A small family gathering was held to celebrate her life. Cremation has taken place.
