Emerson: Well, one thing I would need is snow. When I’m playing hockey it just doesn't feel right without it or you can’t go skidooing without snow. Another thing that I could not have at Christmas is the sugar cookies that my sister makes.
Amelia: The things I need for it to feel like Christmas is a Christmas tree, presents, Christmas lights and snow.
Gemma: I need snow for it to feel like Christmas because snow is Christmas. You can’t make snowmen, make snowballs and throw them at your siblings or parents in a fun way, you can’t even go sledding without it.
Declin: One thing I need for it to feel like Christmas is my family and my mom’s cooking and this year it’ll be my cooking too. I like cooking and baking and I enjoy my mom’s cooking. My favourite meal my mom makes over Christmas is her meatloaf.
Les: In order for it to feel like Christmas I think we need snow because without snow I can’t go snowmobiling. In my opinion no snow might take a little bit of fun out of Christmas.
Sally: What I will need for it to feel like Christmas is snow! Now hear me out! Santa live in the North Pole and it snows in the North Pole so Santa won’t survive in nice warm palm tree weather. Also if there is no snow on Christmas then winter wonderland would not be a thing. Also nobody would drink hot chocolate because nobody would be cold.
Grayson: It is a tree with ornaments and lights. I love helping my mom and dad decorate the Christmas tree. When I look in the living room I see a Christmas tree so I think it’s Christmas.
Skyler: Well I definitely need lights! Okay they are up but it still doesn’t feel right. Oh I know, I need a Christmas tree. Okay well it’s up but it’s missing something. Oh yeah I need to decorate the tree. Mmmm? I did that but it still doesn’t feel right. Oh yeah I know the thing I need most is my family.
Marianna: Do you know the one thing you need to have for Christmas? Well if you don’t it’s LOVE! Because love brings joy to all of us. Have you ever watched the Grinch? Well if you haven’t, you should because at the end he gets all the love he needed.
Brynley: Mine is that I need my family. Why do you ask? Because they can help you decorate the Christmas tree and they can help you make cookies for Santa and don’t forget the most important reason so you know you are loved.
Sophie: One thing I need for Christmas is my family. Snow is another one. I want those two things because me and my family decorate the Christmas tree together and we open presents and stockings together around the Christmas tree. We also have hot chocolate on the warm, snowy Christmas morning. And when the snow is big and beautiful, we build snowmen and throw snowballs at each other.
Rowyn: Many people think that presents are the one thing that you need for it to feel like Christmas, but the thing I need for it to feel like Christmas is the tree all dazzled up. When you don’t have your Christmas tree with all the lights on it, it doesn't feel magical and there won’t be any Christmas spirit. When you don’t have that magic and spirit, then Christmas will feel so dark.
Emery: I’m hoping on Christmas we can have snow, but if we don’t we can always find the Christmas spirit by making somebody’s Christmas day.
Ryker: It isn’t Christmas because there is no snow on the ground. This might be a long winter because we can’t go skidooing, sledding and we can’t have hot chocolate. So without snow we can’t do all that so please snow tomorrow.
Peyson: For it to be Christmas there has to be snow because me and my family can’t go skidooing. There has to be a bright and beautiful Christmas tree up. At my house if we don’t have my outdoor rink up and running by Christmas I think Christmas should be cancelled.
Briar: For it to feel like Christmas I need family and pets. I need family because I would miss my family’s company and I would have nobody to go tobogganing and sledding with. I need pets because they always make the room feel cozy, safe and complete.
Jensen: It will not feel like Christmas if there is no snow. If there is no snow on Christmas you will not be able to go sledding or skiing. You definitely won’t be able to eat the delicious snow if you don’t have snow on Christmas.
Sierra: A decorated Christmas tree that my family helped decorate with a letter saying ‘Dear Christmas tree, I need you for Christmas, it would just not feel like Christmas without you. My family is so happy when it is Christmas because of you!’
Emmit: I need snow for it to feel like Christmas. If snow was not there I could not go quadding in the snow. I like quadding in the snow because it is fun when you get stuck and then you have to try to get yourself out.
Christian: That one thing is happiness like doing something kind or just a smile is nice to do on Christmas.
Paisley: I’m going to tell you one thing I need for it to feel like Christmas and it is Love! Why you ask? Love is special and important so love one another because it makes people HAPPY!
Kingsley: All I need is my family to make it feel like Christmas. My family helps decorate the tree and put decorations all over the house. As a family we like to go to our cabin at Christmas time. We have campfire and play games like dominoes. I love to try and kiss reindeer.
