A four-day TB testing clinic set up in Wilkie saw some 2,000 people from the area pass through for tuberculin testing.
Emergency care services at Wilkie Union Hospital were expanded with the additions of cardiac monitoring equipment and a defribillator.

“Drought ravages rural Saskatchewan” was the front page headline in both The Wilkie Press and The Northwest Herald. Many community pastures were not allowing cattle grazing and the RMs of Reford, Buffalo, Cut Knife, Eye Hill, Mariposa and Grass Lake had all declared themselves disaster areas.
Results from the 2011 Stats Can census were published. Unity housed 530 families, with the average family income 小蓝视频 $50,601. There were 305 families in Wilkie, with an average family income of $48,705.
Saskatchewan’s 32 health districts, including Greenhead Health District, were ready to transfer their responsibilities to the 12 new regional health authority boards. Rosetown was chosen to be the location of the head office for our region.
Local artist Pat Welter was awarded the contract for the 2002 mural project. The mural was to go on the side of Schafer’s Health Centre, and Welter was using the Sounding Lake trail as inspiration.
