An opportunity not experienced in 2020 or 2021, due to the pandemic, Saskatchewan hockey provincials are back on the ice for the 2022 season. Hockey Sask. announced the match ups for both minor and senior hockey draws on Jan. 12.

In the minor hockey division provincial match ups look like this:
U18 B division includes Wilkie who will face Meadow Lake in round one. Unity will face off against Clavet in opening round of the C division. Macklin will play Lashburn in the D division as will Kerrobert, who is set to take on HIllmond
U15 B division sees Unity facing off against Shellbrook in opening round, while Wilkie will play Waldheim in the opening round, with the winner playing the winner of Unity and Shellbrook. The D division will see Kerrobert taking on Naicam and Macklin playing against Aberdeen.
U13 B division will see Unity having a first-round bye to play the winner between Hauge and Kindersley while the D division sees Kerrobert matched up against Muenster and Macklin will play Neilburg
Senior hockey provincial matchups
Senior D draw includes Macklin squaring off against Kenaston in opening round while Kerrobert will face off against Kyle.
Senior C draw does not include any west central teams
Senior B division has Wilkie meeting Delisle in the opening round.
Biggar has entered the Senior A division and will meet Lanigan in opening draw.
The Unity Miners have opted out of provincial playdowns this season.
