Mail boxes broken into at Scott and Landis post office locations

The weekly policing report for the period April 12-18 included complaints of utering threats and missing person

UNITY REPORT

RCMP received a report of a rural outbuilding on fire near Salvador. Luseland Fire Department extinguished the fire, which was deemed not suspicious in nature.

Members assisted an individual in locating transportation.

CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction in Unity. Reported for information purposes.

Police received a complaint of harassing communications but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

RCMP received a complaint of mail boxes broken into at the post office in Scott. There are no suspects at this time.

Police received a report of a missing person. Members located the subject.

Members received a complaint of theft. This matter is still under investigation.

There were also two false 911 calls and two traffic complaints.

WILKIE REPORT

RCMP received a complaint of an abandoned vehicle. Members discovered the vehicle had been stolen. This matter is still under investigation.

Members are investigating a complaint of fraud.

Police received a complaint of an individual damaging a vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

RCMP received a complaint of mail boxes broken into at the post office in Landis. There was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Members received a complaint of a stolen vehicle but it was unfounded.

Police received a complaint of suspicious individuals near a residence. Members patrolled but could not locate the subjects of complaint.

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.

There was also one traffic complaint.

MACKLIN REPORT

RCMP received a noise complaint. Members issued a verbal warning.

Police received a report of a single-vehicle collision north of Macklin. This matter is still under investigation.

Members received a complaint of uttering threats but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

There were also two traffic complaints and one false alarm.
