UNITY – The regular meeting of the Unity town council was held March 26 at 7 p.m. with Mayor Sharon Del Frari, councillors Bob Abel, Chris Halter (via phone), Rick Hill, Curtis McLean, Ryan Sernecky, Brent Weber and CAO Aileen Garrett present.
Regular full-time town employees will now have coverage with Employee and Family Assistance Program effective April 1. The town also entered into a collective agreement between CUPE Local 2752..
Policy 4.4 – Cemetery Policy was amended. Bylaws pertaining to traffic bylaws, animal control, snow removal, minimal tax amount and tax exemption were all voted on and annexed for the 2024 year.
