Cyber-bullying, moose collision and domestic dispute part of this week's RCMP report

Unity RCMP kept busy with incidents and complaints reported in their detachment area for Unity, Wilkie and Macklin

UNITY REPORT

RCMP received a report of a hit and run causing damage to a vehicle. Reported for insurance purposes.

Police received a complaint of theft. Members spoke to the subject of complaint. The complainant requested no further action be taken.

There was a report of a suspicious person loitering near a business. Members transported the subject of complaint to Unity Health Centre for medical treatment.

RCMP received a report of an individual breaking a window of a building in Unity. Insufficient evidence to proceed. Reported for information purposes.

Police received a report of a lost wallet. The wallet has not been located.

Members received a report of a tractor fire near Salvador. The fire was extinguished by Luseland Fire Department and was not suspicious in nature.

RCMP received a report of an abandoned trailer. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a complaint of disturbing the peace but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Members received a report of a vehicle collision with a moose. There were no injuries. Reported for insurance purposes.

CN Police reported a broken railway crossing arm. Reported for information purposes.

CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction. Reported for information purposes.

There was also one false 911 call.

WILKIE REPORT

RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious person at a residence. Member attended and discovered a faulty light fixture. The property rep was notified.

A 26-year-old female from Wilkie was charged with assault after members received a complaint of a domestic dispute.

Police received a report of gun shots. Members confirmed it was the sound of fireworks that were set off in Wilkie.

RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members spoke with the subject of complaint and left them in the care of a family friend.

Police received a complaint of an intoxicated individual at a residence. Members transported the subject of complaint to cells in North Battleford to remain until sober.

MACKLIN REPORT

RCMP received a complaint of a stolen licence plate. Insufficient evidence to proceed.Uni

Members are investigating a report of cyber bullying.

Police received a complaint of a missing person. This matter is still under investigation.

RCMP received a noise complaint. Members attended and issued a verbal warning.

Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.
