UNITY—The 7th annual Tyler Zunti Memorial volleyball tournament was held over the Thanksgiving weekend, with Unity Composite High alumni taking a trip down memory lane.
With two pools, competitive and non-competitive, 14 teams took to the courts for some fun and to help raise funds for mental health initiatives within the community. Teams were also creative with names such A535 Assassins and I-B-PRO-FUN, who won the competitive side of the tournament. The Misfits took home the top spot in the non-competitive pool.
Organizers were happy to announce this year’s event brought in close to $8,000.
“Without our sponsors, this event would not be possible from year to year. It is truly amazing seeing the support for such a great cause,” said organizers.
