The Wilkie Air Cadet squadron has their annual inspection. Reviewing officer Major Diller was impressed 13 out of 19 cadets had perfect attendance records. He also said so far the Wilkie cadets had the shiniest shoes he had seen.
The Phippen 4-H Beef Club held their annual Achievement Day. As the two most valued and outstanding members, Debbie Bleier and Shannon Johnson each received a beautiful wristwatch, presented by the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.
