SASKATOON — Saskatoon Transit is offering special event bus service to and from SaskTel Centre this weekend, providing direct routes for those attending events at the venue.
On Saturday, Jan. 18, buses will provide service for the Sum 41 concert at SaskTel Centre, with departures at 5:45 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Buses depart from the Special Events Stop at 23rd Street and Second Avenue. The concert begins at 6:50 p.m.
For Sunday's game between the Saskatoon Blades and the Swift Current Broncos at 4:00 p.m., buses will depart at 2:45 p.m. and 3:25 p.m.
Post-event service will drop passengers off at the downtown terminal. Regular fares of $3.00 per trip apply, and payment can be made through the TGo or transit app, or with transfers and passes.
Buses typically arrive at the venue 30 minutes before the event ends. To plan your trip in advance, the Transit app offers routes up to two weeks ahead of time, including connections with OnDemand Transit, riide, and Uber.
