SASKATOON - Update, March 10, 3:06 p.m.: The Saskatoon Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest in a robbery investigation.
On Feb. 16, a 71-year-old woman was robbed of her purse in the lobby of an apartment building in the 2500 block of Louise Street by an unknown man. The suspect is described as 小蓝视频 approximately 30 years old, with a “stocky build”, tan complexion, and short, dark hair.
Anyone with information regarding the identity and/or whereabouts of the person of interest or with information otherwise believed to be relevant is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or at 1-800-222-8477.
Original post, Feb. 19, 2:16 p.m.: Police are searching for a suspect that allegedly robbed a woman of her purse over the weekend.
Patrol officers attended to an apartment complex in the 2500 block of Louise Street on Feb. 16. It was reported to police that, at approximately 5 p.m., a 71-year-old woman was followed into the lobby of her apartment by an unknown man. The male suspect reportedly stole the victim’s purse following a brief struggle. He fled in a truck with a suspect driver inside. Paramedics attended to assess the victim’s injuries, which appeared to be minor in nature.
The suspect is described as 小蓝视频 approximately 30-years-old with a "stocky build", tan complexion and short, dark hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing jeans and a light-coloured sweater with a navy blue hood that was up.
The truck is described as 小蓝视频 from the early 2000’s, two-toned in colour, with white on the bottom and blue on the top. No suspect description for the driver is available at this time.
