Man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant arrested for fraud charges

LLOYDMINSTER, Alta. - Lloydminster RCMP have laid fraud charges against a Saskatoon man who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

On Jan. 27, Lloydminster RCMP’s General Investigations Section, with assistance from the Saskatchewan Crime Reduction Team and Lloydminster Police Dog Services, located and arrested a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in connection with an extensive fraud investigation in Saskatoon. The suspect was also wanted following an in-depth investigation into allegations of financial crimes including identity fraud, forgery and misrepresentation, fraudulent activities targeting individuals and businesses across multiple provinces.

The Lloydminster RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the location of, or sightings of criminal activity in your neighbourhood, including trafficking of drugs.
