Woman in Pine Grove Correctional Centre passes away in hospital

PRINCE ALBERT - The Prince Albert Police Service has concluded its investigation into the death of a 30-year-old woman who passed away on April 13, while in hospital.

The investigation was initiated on April 17 following notification by the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.

The woman was remanded in custody at the Pine Grove Correctional Centre after 小蓝视频 arrested on March 17 by the Saskatoon Police Service with assistance from the Corman Park Police.

The charges at the time of her arrest included dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, 小蓝视频 police, and multiple firearms offences.

On March 23, the woman was transported to Victoria Hospital via ambulance and subsequently transferred to a Saskatoon hospital.

Her charges were stayed on April 1.

Despite medical intervention, the woman passed away in hospital.

"As part of our commitment to public accountability and transparency, the Prince Albert Police Service’s Criminal Investigations Division conducted a thorough and independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death," the Prince Albert Police Service stated in the news release. "After a comprehensive review, no criminal charges are 小蓝视频 recommended in relation to this matter. We recognize that this tragic loss has a profound impact on the woman’s family and loved ones, and our thoughts are with them during this difficult time. The Prince Albert Police Service remains committed to ensuring that all investigations are conducted with the utmost care and diligence."
