Police ask for public's help following firearms complaint

On March 26 at approximately 6:50 p.m., police were called to the 600 block of 20th Street West for a weapons complaint involving a firearm.

PRINCE ALBERT - The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating after responding to a firearms call on Wednesday evening.

On March 26 at approximately 6:50 p.m., police were called to the 600 block of 20th Street West for a weapons complaint involving a firearm.

Officers arrived on scene and found that no one was physically injured.

Through their investigation, officers learned a man attended a residence in the 600 block of 20th Street West and was asked to leave.

The man then allegedly brandished a firearm and threatened the victims.

The suspect then fled on foot north on 6th Avenue West.

After further investigation, officers were able to identify the suspect; however, initial attempts to locate him were unsuccessful.

The suspect was described as male, tall, skinny, and was wearing all black clothing. Police are continuing to investigate this incident.
