PRINCE ALBERT - The Prince Albert Police Service are investigating an aggravated assault that occurred Wednesday evening.
At approximately 7:50 p.m. on Feb. 26, police were called to the unit block of 11th Street West in Prince Albert for an assault in progress.
Before police arrived, updates came in stating there was a previous physical altercation at a business in the 900 block of 1st Avenue West involving a weapon.
Upon arrival at the unit block of 11th Street West, officers located a female with injuries consistent with an assault; she was transported to hospital by Parkland Ambulance with what were believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate.
