Heavyweights 鈥� The Heavyweights Brass Band performed in North Battleford at the Legion Monday evening last week as part of the annual SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival. Each year the Battlefords Jazz Society and the Jazz Festival co-sponsor a performance by one of the groups or individuals on the festival lineup in Saskatoon. The Heavyweights Brass Band is known as Canada鈥檚 leading feel-good horn music ensemble and is currently on a Canadian tour playing festivals in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa and others.
