This is the final week of our small daily changes. Hopefully you have been able to incorporate at least some of these small changes to help improve your overall health.
For this last week, try these simple things:
Day 24: Figure out how much water you need. We have heard for years and years to drink eight glasses of water per day. In fact, each person's water needs vary. A simple way to figure out how much water you need is to take your weight in pounds and cut it in half, that is how many ounces you need each day. For example, a 120 pound person will need about 60 ounces of water each day or 7.5 eight-ounce glasses per day. This number can vary depending on your individual situation but is a reasonably accurate benchmark.
Day 25: Eat your oranges, don't drink them. Fruit juice is loaded with sugar and is often missing much of the fibre that you can get by actually eating the fruit. Also, fruit is a great snack. It tastes great, will hydrate you and many fruits will actually curb your appetite so you eat less at your next meal. Fruit is almost always the perfect snack.
Day 26: Eliminate pop and energy drinks from your diet. If you need a little pick me up mid-day, have a cup of black coffee. Pop and energy drinks are merely empty calories.
Day 27: Make plans to increase your exercise levels to the recommended 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity per week. This may seem like a lot but broken down by day, this is less then 22 minutes of activity per day. This is definitely manageable.
Day 28: Add an extra cup of "clean" veggies to your diet at least three times per week. Clean veggies means raw (no dip), steamed, boiled or baked with no extras (butter, sauces, salt, etc).
Day 29: Save Money. I realize this has nothing to do with physical health but 小蓝视频 truly healthy is much more than just physical. It includes mental health. Healthy finances reduce stress and create more inner peace. Start looking at your budget today. If you don't have a budget or financial plan, start one today.
Day 30: Tell the people that you love that you love them. Every day. It feels great to say and feels great to hear! And ... smile in the shower. It will change your morning. I promise.
Creating "wellness" is more than just hitting the gym. We need to be fully well. Mental and physical health need to be considered. I hope you have been able to create more wellness in your life by trying some of these tips over the last month.
Say it! Mean it! Do it!
