TURNBULL: In Loving Memory of Florence Turnbull who was born July 1, 1915 at Prince Albert, SK and passed away March 28, 2011 at North Battleford, SK. Left to cherish Florence's memory are her loving children and their families: son, Neville Turnbull and family: Marc (Krissa): Hope, Danyelle and Kristopher, Kevin (Jacquelyn): Savannah, all of Regina, SK and Lori in Taiwan; daughter, Patriciamay (Rorri) McBlane, Coquitlam, BC and family: Lindsay, Port Moody, BC and Angus, Cardiff, Wales as well as nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Oxenia Planidin; her husband, James Paterson Turnbull; daughter-in-law, Doris Turnbull; brothers: Michael, Joseph, Nicholas and William and sister, Marion Steeves. A Funeral Service was held Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. from Territorial Drive Alliance Church, North Battleford, SK with Pastor Keith Klippenstein officiating. A Tribute "Remembering Grandma" was given by Lindsay McBlane. Gifts of Music were shared by Pianist, Mrs. Betty Chartier; Processional, "Softly and Tenderly"; Soloist, Isabel Bannister sang "Beyond The Sunset"; Hymn Selections were "In The Garden" and "How Great Thou Art"; Recessional "Going Home" was played by Piper, Rorri McBlane; at the cemetery, Soloist, Isabel Bannister sang "Amazing Grace". The Pallbearers were "All Who Shared Florence's Life"; Marc Turnbull, Serge Planidin, Kevin Turnbull, Angus McBlane, Lori Turnbull, Allan Beckett, Hope Dreger, Danyelle Dreger and John Planidin. Memorials are requested to The Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation Inc or Victoria Union Hospital, Prince Albert, SK. Interment took place at Garden of Christus ~ Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, North Battleford, SK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Battlefords Funeral Service.
