STORY: In Loving Memory of William John Story who was born May 29, 1939 "On the Homestead", Ranger District, SK and passed away April 15, 2011 at Leoville, SK. Left to cherish William's memory: his loving wife of 49 years, Anne , his children and their families: Vernell (George Flett): Roxanne, Virginia, Jalynn & Tyler; Kevin (Darlene Nash); Patty (Vance McEwen): Shannon & April; Edie (Greg Johnstone): Myles & Amber; Billy (Darlene): Kathleen, Justin & Jayden; 9 Great-Grandchildren; brothers: Creston Joseph (Rose) Story and Robert Gordon Story; nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his parents, Creston McIntosh Story and Kathleen Alma Story (nee: Rourke) and sister-in-law, Elaine Story. A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Ranger Hall, Ranger, SK with Rev. Doug Miner, Trinity Bissell Memorial Church, Spiritwood, SK officiating. Shared Memories were given by Janet Booker and "Remembering Grandpa" a Tribute given by the Grandchildren. The Hymns were "Amazing Grace" and "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" with Violin Accompanist Creston Story and Special Music "The Magic Man" by Cassandra Scott. The Honourary Pallbearers were "Relatives and Friends" and Pallbearers were Billy Story, Greg Johnstone, George Flett, Mike Scott, Vance McEwen, Neil Teske, Justin Story and Tyler Beebee. Memorials are requested to Heart and Stroke Foundation. Interment took place at Ranger Cemetery, Ranger, SK.
