STISHENKO: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nicholas Stishenko, late of North Battleford, on August 23, 2011 at the age of 87 years.

STISHENKO: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nicholas Stishenko, late of North Battleford, on August 23, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Nicholas is lovingly remembered by his son, Robert (Vivian) Stishenko and their children, Trevor (Amanda): Brittany and Todd; Derrick; Brent Kennedy (Christine); daughter, Betty (Lloyd) Johnson and their children, Jennafer (Jared); Jade (Kris); special friend, Nellie Welford; brother, Frank (Vera) Stishenko; sisters, Elizabeth Gutenberg, Helen (Aron) Samuelson, Katie Wiklund, Margaret Kennedy; and sister-in-law, Maggie Stishenko. He was predeceased by his wife, Anne Stishenko (nee Faller) in 1992; parents, Alex and Annie Stishenko; brother, Andrew Stishenko; brothers-in-law, Peter Gutenberg and Ed Wiklund; half brothers, John Stishenko and Bill Stishenko; half sisters, Polly (Steve) Ripka and Mary (John) Krelow; and special friend, Reta Wendland. Memorial Service was held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 from the Chapel of Sallows and McDonald - Wilson and Zehner Funeral Home with Mrs. Joyce Salie officiating. A private family interment took place at the City of North Battleford Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Nicholas may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, 104-2301 Avenue C North, Saskatoon, SK S7L 5Z5.
