RINDERO - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Minnie Rindero, born June 25, 1919 at Whitkow, SK passed away at North Battleford, SK on May 18, 2011 at the age of 91 years. Left to cherish Minnie's memory are her loving daughters, son, and their families: Irene and Val Pleasance, Prince Albert, SK and their family: Sherry (Brad) Sawka, Brittney and Jarred, Fort St. John, BC; Jason Pleasance (Crisha) and Chloe, Saskatoon, SK; Maxine and Keith Hoffman and their family Cory (Jen) Hoffman and Ryder, Unity, SK, Roddy Hoffman, Meota, SK, Brad Hoffman, Battleford, SK, Kelly Hoffman, Camrose AB; Eldon and Maureen Rindero of Rosthern, SK and their family Meghan Rindero of Saskatoon, SK, Ryan Rindero of Lethbridge, AB. Also left to cherish Minnie's memory are her sisters: Sophie Ewanchuk, Sally (Steve) Starycki of North Battleford, SK, sister-in-law Leona (Ed) Mazurek, North Battleford, SK; many nieces, nephews and their families. Minnie is predeceased by her husband, Roy Rindero (Dec 5, 1995) parents Nykola (June 1941) and Paraska (May 1954) of Horodenka, Ukraine; brothers: Dimytro Nykiforuk, Steven Nykiforuk; sisters: Bessie Nykiforuk, Nellie (Sam) Nykiforuk, Carolyn Belyk, Anne Sihikalo. The funeral service was held on Monday, May 23, 2011 from Battleford United Church, Battleford, SK with Reverend Nora Borgeson officiating. Meghan Rindero gave the eulogy. Music ministry was by Junice Headley as organist. Hymn selections were: In The Garden, On Eagles Wings, and Amazing Grace. Pallbearers were: Jason Pleasance, Cory Hoffman, Roddy Hoffman, Brad Hoffman, Ryan Rindero, Brad Sawka. The family have requested that memorial donations be made to River Heights Lodge, North Battleford, SK. Interment took place at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, North Battleford, SK. Nicole Welford of Sallows & McDonald Funeral Home, North Battleford, SK was entrusted with the arrangements. Card of Thanks We would like to express our sincere thanks to Reverend Nora Borgeson, for her comforting ministry received at the funeral service. Thank you to the United Church Choir and organist, Junice Headley. We are very thankful for all the love and support given to our family through donations of food, flowers, cards and telephone calls expressing sympathy. We will always remember these kindnesses. Thank you to the nurses in emergency and on the 3rd floor at the Battleford Union Hospital for their professionalism and caring. Also a special thank you to Dr. Lipsett for looking after all of mom's medical needs for many years. To the Battleford's River Heights Lodge Staff a very special thank you for the many years of caring for Minnie, almost 22 years.
