MOAR: In Loving Memory of Murial Joyce Moar who was born March 3, 1936 at Carnduff, SK and passed away on August 18, 2011 at North Battleford, SK. Left to cherish Murial's memory: her loving husband of 54 years, Ranald "Bud" Moar, North Battleford, SK; loving daughter, son-in-law and grandson: Rana (Harvey) Schweitzman and Steven Schweitzman of Victoria, BC; loving son and daughter-in-law, Robert (Leanna) Moar of Ft. Qu'Appelle, SK; her sisters: Audrey (Gerald) Buitenhuis, Raymore, SK, Bernice (Colin) Head, Melville, SK and Vera (Fred) Robinson of Bermuda; nieces, nephews and very close friends: Glen & Bev Buschman, Bryan & Matty Peever and Maureen Bain. Murial was predeceased by her parents, Wilfred and Mary Thompson; brothers: Robert and Norval Thompson and sister, Shirley Dickinson. Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving of Murial's Life was held Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Battleford United Church, Battleford, SK with Rev. Nora Borgeson officiating. Shared Memories were given by Bev Buschman. Gifts of Music were from Pianist / Organist, Mrs. M. Junice Headley; Battleford United Church Choir; Soloist ~ Robert MacKay sang "The Rose" and Hymn Selections were "Softly and Tenderly" and "The Old Rugged Cross". The Honour Guard was present with Battlefords Beaver Good Sams, Urn Bearer was Bryan Peever and the Honourary Pallbearers were "All Who Have Touched Murial's Heart". Memorials are requested to Heart and Stroke Foundation and Multiple Sclerosis Society. Interment will follow at a later date.
