MICHALOWSKI: In Loving Memory of Martin Dale Michalowski "Old Man" who was born March 6, 1934 at Hafford, SK and passed away July 28, 2011 at St. Walburg, SK. Martin is survived by his daughter, Georgina (Arthur) Jack ~ his grandchildren: Adam, Ashikeha and David; Great-Grandchildren: Shanika Houghton (Jack), Valgan Jack, Kewaytin and Kimowan; his sister, Adeline (Henry) Kozlowski and Uncle, Dick (Jean); nieces and nephews, and special friend, Lillian Blackbird. Martin was predeceased by his parents, Nick and Annie Michalowski. The Funeral Service was held Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from "The Garden Chapel" ~ Battlefords Funeral Service, North Battleford, SK with Rev. Taras Udod, Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist, North Battleford, SK officiating. Music Ministry was Cantor and Music Director was Mrs. Sally Lazarowich and Ukrainian Orthodox Church Choir. The Honourary Pallbearers were "All His Friends" and Active Pallbearers were Harvey Thomas, David Jack, River Thomas, Richard Standingwater, Frank Materi and Gilbert Morin. Memorials are requested to Canadian Cancer Society. Interment took place at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, North Battleford, SK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Battlefords Funeral Service.
