Nick leaves to mourn: his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Mary; his children: Larry, Kevin (Lori), Joanne Neigum (Dave) and James (Angie); his grandchildren: Kasey, Desmond, Jordan, Nevaeh, Will, Tyler, Taylor, Cody & Kyle. Nick was predeceased by his parents, Ross and Helen Chaykowski; brother, Bill; niece, Sandra; grandchild, Crystal; his parents-in-law, Peter and Anne Lozinski; sister-in-law, Rose Dziadyk (Isidore); brothers-in-law, Jake Lozinski, Morris Lozinski & Mike Danko. Panakhyda ~ Prayer Service was held Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. and Funeral Divine Liturgy was held Friday, July 29, 2011 from All Saints Ukrainian Catholic Church, North Battleford, SK with Fr. Mykhaylo Fedoriv, Celebrant assisted by Myron Yamniuk and Bill Chorney. Gifts of Music were shared by Cantor and Choir Director, Mrs. Ann Prystupa and All Saints Parish Choir. The Honourary Pallbearers were "All His Friends" and the Active Pallbearers were Kasey Tatar, Johann Lozinski, David Chaykowski, Kirk Kralkay, Robert Wells andJim Lozinski. Memorials are requested to Heart and Stroke Foundation. Interment took place at Town of Battleford Cemetery, Battleford, SK.
