Ed was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Beatrice Baker, two brothers, Robert and Albert and two sisters, Bernice Penrice and Ellen Tebay. A Funeral Service was held Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. from Third Avenue United Church, North Battleford, SK with Rev. Fred J.Tinio officiating. Shared Memories were given by Patty Sutherland and Tim Nieman and "Tribute To Grandpa" by Leah Baker. Gifts of Music were shared by Organist, Glenn Goodman; Soloist, Robert MacKay sang "Abide with Me" and Hymn Selection was "The Old Rugged Cross". The Honourary Pallbearers were "All Dad's Friends" and Pallbearers were Blair Dearborn, John Oliver, Bruce Dearborn, Neil Kjargaard, Jim Cole and Lyle Russell. Memorials are requested to Alzheimer Society, 301 - 2550 - 12th Ave, Regina, SK S4P 3X1 and Heart & Stroke Foundation, 279 - 3rd Ave. N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8. Interment took place at Garden of Christus ~ Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, North Battleford, SK. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Battlefords Funeral Service.
