As the 2011 Canadian Winter Games draw near, the rosters for Saskatchewan athletes continues to be unveiled.
Just five teams of the possible 21 have released the names and hometowns of the players, and the Northwest has athletes on one of those rosters.
The figure skating team consisting of 14 skaters has one Spiritwood skater, Elise Von Holwede, on the roster. Also on the figure skating roster is Shaelyn Olafson of Moosomin.
Other rosters released include the badminton team, female hockey team, synchronized swimmer team and the wheelchair basketball team.
The Saskatchewan athletes will join the rest of the country in Halifax Feb. 11 to 27.
