Three of the four semi final teams were known as of Thursday last week in the North Saskatchewan River Baseball League.

The first place Lloydminster Twins were still waiting to see who their opponent would be, but for the second straight series they will have no road trips.

The Twins beat the Lloydminster Midget Twins in two games and will face the winner of the Border City Blue Jays and Lloydminster Junior Redhawks. The Redhawks evened the series at 1-1 with a 3-2 win Thursday.

The winner will jump into the semi final series with the Twins, who are coming off of losing the senior AA provincial final this past weekend.

Game three between the Blue Jays and Redhawks was set for Tuesday in Lloydminster.

Also on Thursday night, the Meadow Lake White Sox beat the Unity Cardinals 9-2 in Meadow Lake. The game three win put the third place White Sox up against the second place Wilkie Brewers in the semi finals.

Wilkie will host the White Sox Wednesday, with games two scheduled for Tuesday in Meadow Lake and Wednesday, Aug. 10 back if Wilkie if game three is necessary.

Wilkie and Meadow Lake will also do battle Friday in the first game of the senior A2 provincial tournament in Meadow Lake. Joining Meadow Lake and Wilkie will be Mervin and Carnduff.
