The Saskatchewan Rush has signed another one of their pillars from their championship teams.
They have signed defender Jeff Cornwall to a new two-year deal. Cornwall made a name for himself in Rush history when he scored the game-winning, title-winning goal with 12 seconds left in game two of the 2016 Cup final versus the Buffalo Bandits.
Cornwall was acquired in 2012 and has 30 goals and 50 assists for 80 points in 128 regular season games. In 24 playoff games, Cornwall has 16 points, 86 loose balls and 21 caused turnovers.
