The University of Regina Rams have charged into the U Sports top 10 football rankings.
Following a 33-28 win over the University of Saskatchewan, Regina improved to 2-0 and are tied for first place in the Canada West conference.
Quarterback Noah Pelleter stepped in for an injured Owen Sieben. He completed 26-of-31 passes for 359 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions plus one rushing major.
Pelletier set a single-game Rams record completing 83.9 percent of his passes, breaking the old mark which was held by Noah Picton who completed 78.8 percent in 2015. He also became the first Regina QB to throw for 300 yards in a game since since Josh Donnelly in 2021.
