Midget AA Barons
The Barons played on the road twice this weekend, but neither of their game's results were recorded at press time.
The Barons host Watson Friday, Prince Albert Sunday and Unity Dec. 22.
Midget Barons #1
The Barons started the game with just five skaters and a goalie Saturday, as Turtleford was at the Civic Centre.
After two more players trickled, in the Barons prevailed and earned the 5-4 win.
The next day, with a short roster once again, the Barons took on the Barons #2. Before the teams combine to make a provincial team, they battled each other and it was the Barons #2 winning 8-5.
The Barons host Spiritwood Sunday.
Midget Barons #2
One day before beating the other Battlefords team, the Barons #2 played Spiritwood and what would a midget game be without an incident after the game?
After shaking hands a Battleford player earned himself a match penalty and two other players earned suspension for fighting in the third period.
Sunday, the Barons host the Meadow Lake Colts and Tuesday they go to Meadow Lake to play the Storm.
Midget Sharks
The North East Flyers were in North Battleford Saturday and left with a 4-1 win. The loss drops the Sharks to 3-4-0 and in fifth place this season.
The Sharks will finish off December with a game Sunday in Dodsland and Dec. 23 in Biggar.
Bantam Sharks
The Sharks played once on the weekend and that was in Rosetown. The Sharks improved to 3-0-1 with a 6-0 shutout.
Friday, the Sharks host Rosthern in their final game before the break.
Peewee AA Barons
The Barons played twice on the weekend and the split with a 8-4 loss to Prince Albert and a 7-2 win over Warman.
Sunday, against Warman, Gavin Nolin led the offence with two goals. Dax Desmarais was the winning goalie.
Saturday, it was Jayden Nachtegaele scoring twice for the Barons.
The Barons will cap off the 2010 portion of their schedule with a game in Meadow Lake Dec. 21.
Peewee Sharks
The Sharks suffered their first and second losses of the season after 3-1 games against Lloydminster G-Force and Lloydminster Wizard Wells. The G-Force scored two late third period goals while Melina Johnston was the lone Sharks' goal scorer.
The Sharks met the Wizard Wells Sunday and it was Kaitlin Ahenakew scoring the Sharks only goal.
Sunday, the Sharks travel to Cold Lake and then close out the pre-Christmas schedule in Meadow Lake Dec. 22.
