The halfway point of the Battlefords and District Ladies' Fastball League is upon us.
It took until the halfway mark of the regular season for the Unity Midgets to suffer their first loss. The Battlefords Midget Bandits won 5-3 in Unity.
At the Flats in Battleford, the Battlefords Bantam Bandits at lasted the Survivors and won 17-11. It was high scoring game with both teams maxing out with seven runs in an inning.
The second game played at the Flats, The Northwest Junior Vipers beat the Unity Bantams 1 by a 16-2 score. The Vipers had only eight players, but Christa Blaquiere pitched and earned the win for the Vipers.
The fourth game of the night between the Edam Ladies and Unity Bantams 2 was cancelled.
Wednesday, three games will be played at the Flats while the Unity Midgets and Unity Bantams 1 face off in Unity.
