Call it home field advantage if you like, but of the three division at the 2011 Bowls Sask. Tournament in Mayfair, four host teams finished in the top three in the categories.
In the men's pairs, which had 14 teams, it was the duo of Doug Propp and Donald Waters placing first. A team from Regina was second while Bud Movery and Gord Ferguson were third in men's pairs.
In women's pairs, two Regina teams were first and second, but it was Lorraine Layton and Hilda Voth of Mayfair taking third place.
In mixed triples, the Mayfair team of skip Doug Propp, second Donald Waters and lead Eli Tarasoff clinched the top spot.
The provincial event was played Saturday, Sunday and Monday in Mayfair.
