The Battlefords and District Ladies' Fastball League is in full swing and Wednesday night, three of the four teams gave up four runs while the other game was decided by four runs.
At the Flats, the Unity Midgets was 15-4 over the Battlefords Bantam Bandits to keep the Unity Midgets' record perfect at 5-0. The Junior Vipers won 11-4 over the Survivors also at the Flats dropping the Survivors to 2-3 on the season.
In Unity, the Unity Bantams 2 beat the Unity Bantams 1 14-4. Unity Bantams 1 are still searching for their first win of the season.
In Edam, the Battlefords Midget Bandits beat the Edam Ladies 6-2, the Midget Bandits hold the second spot in the league with ah 4-1 record.
The ladies will take Monday off because of the holiday, but will be back in action Wednesday with the Battlefords Midgets, Unity Bantams 1, Junior Vipers and Battlefords Bantams playing at the Flats. Unity Bantams 2 will host the Survivors and the Edam Ladies will be at home against the Unity Midgets.
