It was a beautiful weekend for golfers this weekend at the North Battleford Golf and Country Club participating this year in the annual Fall Scramble.
According to director of golf Dana Johnson, about 20 teams took part in two days of golf action at the golf club, enjoying balmy temperatures and sunny skies as they tried to navigate through the course.
It turned out to be particularly memorable weekend for one team because, according to Johnson, Rob Campbell was able to record a hole in one on Saturday. That happened on the 12th hole.
In all, 115 players took part in the Fall Scramble. There were five ladies' teams of 4-5 players and 15 mens' teams of 6 players each.
At the end of it all Marty Friedrich's team finished first, with Lloyd Hartl and Tim Sletten's teams tied for second. The winning teams were awarded with gift cards from the golf club.
