Crusaders set to come home

The John Paul II Crusaders football team played in Meadow Lake Friday and were out matched by the more experienced home team. The final score was 56-7 infavour of Meadow Lake.

The loss ends a stretch of three straight away games for the Crusaders, who have three regular season games remaining and carry an 0-4 record.

The Crusaders will host the Unity Warriors, who they played Sept. 16. The Warriors were the Crusaders' closest opponents, as Unity won that game 34-19 while John Paul II scored their first ever touchdowns.

Along with a home football game, John Paul II is considering this Friday to be the school's weekend homecoming and all the students past and present are encourage to show up and support their school team.

Game time is 4 p.m. at Beaver Lions Stadium.
