Midget AA Barons
The Barons held their home tournament on the weekend and played some elite AA teams while earning one win.
Friday, the Barons lost 4-3 to the Saskatoon Steel. Saturday, they lost 7-3 and 6-1 to Okotoks and Red Deer and Sunday, they earned the 6-5 win over Meadow Lake.
The other teams in the tournament were Warman and Saskatoon Sabrescats, who went 4-0 in round robin play.
The Barons are on the road twice this weekend, as they resume Centre Four Hockey League action. They play in Warman Friday and Lloydminster Sunday.
Bantam AA Barons
The Barons were in a tournament on the weekend and also had to cancel their home tournament, which was scheduled for this weekend.
Bantam Barons
The Barons went to Wilkie Tuesday for a Highway 14 Hockey League game and hoped to improve on their 2-1-1 record.
The Barons are scheduled to play Kerrobert and Conquest in the Battlefords this weekend.
Bantam Barons #2
The Barons had a STEP League game scheduled for Sunday against Goodsoil. The Barons hoped to continue their hot streak and improve on the 2-0-0 record.
Saturday, the Barons will be in Neilburg for a tournament and the next weekend they will be in Unity for a two-day tournament.
Peewee Barons
None of the scores were posted from the peewee STEP League action on the weekend, but to this point all four Battlefords peewee teams have a couple games played in the league and an overall report is due.
The Barons #1 were 0-4 heading into a game with Turtleford Friday and now prepare for a Sunday morning game with the Battlefords Barons #3.
The Barons #2 team had two wins under their belts before playing St. Walburg Saturday. The Barons #2 have a week off from league play, as their next game is Dec. 5.
One loss is all that was reported for the Barons #3 team, but they were scheduled to play Edam on the weekend. The Barons #3 have two games on the schedule this weekend.
The Barons #4 are off to the best start as they sat at 3-0 heading into a weekend match up with Meadow Lake.
This weekend, the Barons #4 will be in Onion Lake.
There was a peewee A provincial tryout session last week and another this week, as they move closer to selecting the team and possibly lining up some exhibition games once the provincial season is closer.
Peewee Sharks
The Battlefords Peewee Sharks continued to stay hot and stay undefeated. On the weekend the Sharks posted twoshutouts. Friday, they won 9-0 over Meadow Lake and Saturday, the Sharks posted a 10-0 win over Vermilion.
In both games, Matheson Colliar was in net for the shutouts.
In the win over Meadow Lake, Jordyn Tuck led all the way with two goals and two assists. Kelsea Sperling and Dakota Peterson chipped in with a goal and two assists each.
Saturday, Sydney Geering had a big day with two goals and three assists, Caliyn Edwards contributed two goals and an assist while Nahoni Tootoosis had a goal and two assists.
Sunday, the Sharks take on the3-2-0 Wainwright team and then they will host their annual tournament at the Don Ross Dec. 4 and 5.
Atom AA Barons
The Barons were in Clavet for a weekend tournament and finished as C-side champions. The Barons lost 6-1 to Warman and 8-2 to the Saskatoon Flyers before beating the Prince Albert Canadians 7-3 in the C final.
This weekend the Barons will be in Wainwright for another tournament.
