Two serious collisions over the weekend kept emergency personnel busy in the Battlefords and surrounding area.
The most serious collision involved four people who were transported to hospital following a single-vehicle rollover on Moosomin First Nation.
The incident took place at around 4 a.m. Sunday, 1.5 kilometres east of the First Nation's school. North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services reports one of the four victims was trapped in the vehicle. The Jaws of Life were used to force open the door of the vehicle.
WPD Ambulance transported the victims to hospital. Their injuries were described as undetermined.
Another collision happened just south of the Highway 16 overpass on Highway 4 south. According to WPD Ambulance, two female patients were treated and released on the scene Friday following a two-vehicle collision Friday at around 8:30 am.
