There were more water problems for the City of North Battleford last week - this time, a water main break in the north end.
The break happened at 101st Street and 20th Avenue Friday afternoon, and the street was blocked to traffic. Drivers were cautioned to be on the lookout for detours and to avoid driving around the barricades.
At the time of the incident the city asked residents to refrain from using water, and there was some discolouration to the water in the area.
By late afternoon the City reported they had isolated the leak and the streets were once again open. The City expects to dig a hole to repair a main valve sometime this week.
