SASKATOON — On Sunday, July 21, the Saskatoon Fire Department helped out after a car crashed into a house in the 1400 block of Louise Avenue. The incident was reported at 5:41 p.m.
The first arriving fire crew saw that a Dodge Ram pickup truck had driven into the house and quickly went to work to stabilize the vehicle. Firefighters then removed a road sign caught in the windshield.
The driver was successfully extricated and transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. No resident of the house was reported to be injured.
The Saskatoon Police Service took over the scene for further investigation.
