SASKATOON - A teen is facing charges related to an alleged aggravated assault in Saskatoon.
At about 12:20 p.m. on July 13, police responded to a report of a stabbing on the 100 block of Langevin Crescent.
After arriving, officers located a 14-year-old male victim suffering from injuries consistent with a stab wound. He was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital with what were believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police were able to locate and arrest the suspect at the location. As a result, a 14-year-old female is facing charges relating to aggravated assault.
The victim and suspect are believed to be known to each other.
Police continue to investigate.
